Incorporated in 2004, the McCready-Telford Foundation offers giving opportunities to support various projects benefiting residents who live at McCready Manor, Telford Terrace, and ultimately, the entire St. Andrews Retirement Community. Donations are designated for either a particular campaign/project or categorized as undesignated for the General Endowment Fund.

Striving to generate revenue, increase community awareness, and develop resources to fulfill its mission, the Foundation is administered by an Executive Director and governed by volunteers serving on the Board of Directors.

The foundation is collecting donations for 24 room transformations for residents at Telford Terrace as part of the Adopt-A-Room program.

This program aims to transform each room over the next few years so residents can live in the best accommodation possible.

At McCready Manor, the Foundation is collecting donations to replace hallway carpet with wood flooring, replace the original elevators with new elevators and upgrade the fire safety system.

These upgrades will help to improve safety and health factors, as well as aesthetics for residents.

With a total cost estimated at more than $450,000, these expenses are long-term investments and improvements and are not recurring budgetary cost. These are large projects and will take time to complete. It will only possible from continued generosity from our community. These upgrades will benefit folks living in our communities for decades.
